Family style rides in the remote mountains of Montana
Mountain Horseback Riding
Plus Rodeo

The Eagle Ridge Ranch, home of the Yellowstone Horses Outfitters is located just 19 miles from the Continental Divide and Montana. The Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo  located just 2 more miles from the Continental Divide on Highway 20 is conducted, four days a week. The rodeo is just 8 miles from West Yellowstone and the west entrance to Yellowstone National Park.

The Wild West Yellowstone Rodeo is a full fledged competition rodeo; the producers are a professional rodeo company called  the Lillian Rodeo Company. For a fantastic experience, we highly recommend taking Yellowstone Horses afternoon ride, find a good place to eat and then enjoy therodeo.  They have your favorite rodeo events include Bareback Bronc Riding, Barrel Racing, Bull Riding, Team Roping, Breakaway Roping, Saddle Bronc Riding, and even an event where kids get to compete, a calf scramble!
When they can work it into their schedule, some of the Yellowstone Horses Outfitters guides and wranglers actually compete in this rodeo!

Hey! To make sure you will have a seat, rodeo tickets are available on-line at: <http://www.yellowstonerodeo.com/prices.htm

Jake Angell All-Around cowboy of 2010
Jake Angell, one of the Yellowstone Horses Outfitters guides,
actually won the rodeo's All-Around championship!

Angells are over-the-hill bronc riders
The Halo Ranch Outfitters provide the horses for Yellowstone Horses. Most of the men in the Angell family, who own the Halo Ranch Outfitters  were all professional saddle bronc riders at one  time.  However, most of them have now  "hung it up". Some of these "old bronc riders"  are still  team ropers, and in their spare time they train team roping horses to sell.  Do you know of anyone who needs a team roping horse?
