RATES

Please add $2.40 Forest Fee to all riders

Half Day Ride $67.60

These rides are conducted in the  mountains near the Continental Divide of western Yellowstone country.  Your guide will take you on a horseback ride that you'll love. There are both morning and afternoon half day rides available.

Evening Ride $57.60
These rides are conducted in the meadows and lower forested areas surrounding the Diamond P Ranch. They start mounting at 4:45 p.m. and try to get back by 7:00 p.m.

 Hay Ride
$57.60
Guests will load on a hay wagon and travel around the ranch; part of the route includes the old abandoned Monida/Yellowstone Stage Line trail.  At one time the Diamond P Ranch was actually an overnight stage stop for people traveling to Yellowstone Park.  There are some steep hills & it's a little rough but it's fun. The driver will talk history and legends, and if the group so desires he will conduct a sing-along, singing some of the old favorites such as Home on The Range.

Fall Photography Ride   $67.60
Fall is  a fantastic time  of the year to ride horses  in Yellowstone country. The native deciduous trees and shrubs  are ablaze with glorious color.

The mountainous area in which we conduct our fall rides is not as steep as some of our summer tours.  The rapid, rushing water of many of the creeks has slowed and the streams are easy to cross.  We do not ride upon the mountainous, shale rock peaks, and the boggy portions of the meadows have firmed up and the horse's footing is sound. Although our fall rides are specifically adjusted to the group, they are not as rigorous as the spring and summer rides.

 Special Rides
During May,early June, and September special group rates are available for:
  • education field trips
  • scouts
  • church groups
Before June 15th and after September 3rd special rides are made available to fit the needs and desires of the group.  During May, because of the increased snow in Yellowstone Country, the rides are conducted on the Juniper Mountains in Idaho.  (Call Tom Angell (208) 390-8883 to get a quote.)

All Day Ride  $187.60
We ride, all day, into the mountains, stopping frequently to take pictures and stretch our legs. We have lunch, usually mountain burgers cooked on an open campfire. If there is a fire ban in effect we have hoagie sandwiches.   A leisurely afternoon ride, again with frequent stops to enjoy the scenery, and we are back to the trailhead by about 6:00 pm.
