Rates for Horse Rides:

We are open Monday-Saturday and give our guides and horses a much deserved day of rest on Sunday! 

Quick Overview:

9:45 am - Mountain 3-hour ride ($95)

9:45 am - Morning 2-hour ride ($75)

1:30 pm - Afternoon Family Special, 2-hour ride ($75)

1:30 pm - Ride, Play, & Eat Package, 2-hour ride and Cookout ($105 adults,$95 kids)

4:00 pm - Evening Ride, 2 hours ($75)

4:00 pm - Western Cowboy Cookout and 2-hour ride ($105 adults, $95 kids)


 



Mountain Half-day 9:45am-12:45 pm(3 hours)


 Of all the rides offerd by Yellowstone Horses at Eagle Ridge Ranch, the three hour ride is the most popular! The ride is conducted in the Centennial Mountains in Eastern Idaho's Shotgun Valley. This beautiful ride includes creek crossings, mountain ridges that are steep but not dangerous, and low-land areas that are the the natural habitat of moose and nesting ducks and geese.

 

Ranch Ride 9:45-11:45 (2 hours)

After some horsemanship instruction, guests mount their horses and spend the rest of their time on the numerous trails located on the huge Eagle Ridge Ranch, an authentic Old West cattle ranch consisting of 140 square miles of  These trails include meadows, trees, and riding along the shores of the 900 acre lake located on the ranch.

Afternoon Family Special 1:30-3:30 (2 hours)

A family oriented horse ride on the various trails on the ranch with the option, after returning, of participating in the extra activities provided by the Eagle Ridge Ranch.  These activities include boating and canoeing in the lake, swimming in the pond, and picnicking.  The Afternoon Family Special can last the rest of the day if you'd like.


Evening Ride 4:00-6:00 (2 hours)

 This ride includes horsemanship instruction followed by the guides matching the horse and riders and then riding on the huge Eagle Ridge Ranch with emphasis on the lowland natural habitat of the moose and nesting geese and ducks.
 

Western Cowboy Cookout 4:00 (Includes 2 hour ride)

Guests begin mounting their horses at 4:00 and then, including the mounting time, spend two hours riding the trails of the Eagle Ridge Ranch. After the ride the guests are provided a fantastic Dutch Oven meal with all of the trimmings and can eat all they want!

Ride, Play, and Eat Package  (2 hour Ride and Evening Cookout)1:30-6:00 pm

Guests will enjoy a 2-hour horse ride from 1:30-3:30  followed by a couple of hours participating in the numerous activities offered by the Eagle Ridge Ranch. The Western Cowboy Cookout begins at 5:30 pm
