MOUNTAIN
HALF-DAY TRIPS
(Morning)
$67.60
(Mount at 9:50 a.m.)
These
trips are the
most beautiful rides in the world! The trails are steep, but not
dangerous. We ride up onto the high mountain ridges and down into the
deep ravines. We usually see wildlife and even in late summer there are
still wild-flowers blooming up that high! These rides are
fantastic! We conduct our rides to satisfy the desires of our
guests which include things like rate of travel. You're in control, you
set the pace. Bring your camera!

MOUNTAIN HALF-DAY TRIPS
(Afternoon) $67.60
(Mount at 1:30
p.m.)
Numerous
different areas are offered on the afternoon trips. These
areas range from the high mountain trails offered on the morning ride
to lower mountain and meadow trails. They can follow the streams that
flow down from the Continental Divide or they can travel back into the
heavy forests.
Because of the vast area, your
guide will strive to give you the type of experience that you want,
including how much time you actually want to spend in the saddle. The
actual time on the afternoon ride is often a little longer; we usually
travel a little slower and spend more time enjoying the beautiful
country and taking pictures.
During mid-summer, the cattle
are moved from one low-land grazing area to another. Depending on where
the livestock are grazing, guests often choose to stop and take
pictures with the livestock in the background.

EVENING TWO HOUR RIDE $57.60
(Mount at 5:00 p.m.)
The evening rides are
casual, gentle, and thoroughly enjoyed by all ages of
riders, including Grandpa and Grandma! Time is spent
riding along the streams that flow down through the meadows as we ride
amidst the natural habitat of moose as well as nesting geese and ducks. Although we do not ride in the mountains, some time
is spent riding at the base of the mountains and everyone gets a chance
to visit
with a guide, ask questions, and listen to stories and
experiences. We like to go to the rodeo on Thursday, Friday, and
Saturdays so we don't book the evening ride on those days.
