The Halo Ranch Outfitters is a horseback riding and recreational activity operation located on, and in the mountains surrounding Island Park, Idaho which is located in Island Park, Idaho. Island Park is located close to Yellowstone National Park. The Teton Peaks, of Teton National Park, can be seen to the east of the Island Park.

Part of the staff of the Halo Ranch Outfitters are educated and experienced when it comes to working with physical, or mentally handicapped individuals and groups.  We take pride in providing an enjoyable, rewarding experience for these people, both young and old, who have special needs.

 With some advice from those in charge of the group,  we will set up a specific ride for your group. 
Depending on your groups abilities and needs, 
we will formulate an experience that all will enjoy.

We've found that horses have an uncanny way of sensing the needs of the person riding them.  Horses will actually adjust their mannerisms to their rider, especially when that particular rider has special needs.  We have lots of horses; we can easily match the rider with the horse.


 

The Halo Ranch Outfitters is a family run business.

  Tom has a Masters Degree in Education, and has taught secondary school, and college classes for 30 years. He has had lots of practice with  groups of special need individuals. (He's the one to call  to discuss your particular situation, and make special reservations.
