e offer pack trips into the mountainous, back country of Island Park, Idaho. Whether your interest is scenic riding, exploring, or photography, our family style adventures can be customized to your needs. Our experienced, gentle mountain horses are eager to pack into the remote back country of the western border of Yellowstone National Park, or up on the Continental Divide between Montana and Idaho. These pack trips provide incredible scenery, wildflowers and wildlife.

 These private trips can be arranged for 10 or more guests for a custom number of days and to a location of your choice.

These summer adventures are tailored to meet the needs of our clients.  From wildlife viewing, breathtaking scenery and photography opportunities accompanied by hearty meals in our professional quality camps with experienced licensed staff this is truly a memory-making excursion. 

   
General:
Trips are usually from 2 to 3 days. We furnish the meals, tents, guides, and horses; you furnish everything else you need. There is a 10 person minimum.    
         

Suggested Personal Gear:
-- Sleeping Bag
--Toilet kit
-- Personal Clothes 
-- Towel & wash cloth
-- Riding Boots
-- rubber bottom boots for rainy days

These items should be packed in a soft style duffel bag, no suit cases please....2 small duffel bags (approximate dimensions 12"x12"x  24") are preferred to 1 large one. 
Total weight for your gear should not exceed about 35 lbs.

                                                  

These items should be kept separate so that when we get to the trailhead, on pack out day, you can get to them without digging in your duffel bag. They will probably be things you will want on your horse, in your saddle bags.    Pocket flashlight (extra Batteries)
-- Insect Repellent

-- Camera 
-- Gloves
-- Hat
-- Rain Gear!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
-- Water Bottle (12-16 oz.)
 Gear must be small enough to fit into  saddle bags and not of the heavy
sort. Small  back packs are allowed on the riding horses.

All pack trips are booked on an individual basis; we'll customize a trip to any destination you want!We try very hard to set up a trip to your specific needs.  We have spent many years in this back country that we like to call home. We really enjoy showing some of its special places to people who enjoy the outdoors.
